Kaizer chiefs midfielder set to discuss his future with the Chiefs, as his contract is set to expire

The Siya team was lead to assume that a midfielder of Amakhosi will address his future soon as the conclusion of his contract is reached.

According to Soccer Laduma, the Kearyn Baccus from Amakhosi is known to be anxious about the lack of time to play in the club since the coach Stuart Baxter took over.

This season, 30-year-old midfielder is still playing for the Glamour boys and the introduction of new players at Amakhosi has made it more difficult for him to join the start-up.

The Kaizer Chiefs coach has preferred Cole Alexander and Phathutshedzo Nange's two-men midfield, and recently Keagan Dolly was in the front line of Khama Billiat and Samir Nurkovic in the No.10 roles.

Kearyn Baccus arrives in the cold as Lebogang Manyama comes back from a long-term injury and the coach is happy to get him back.

Fans have also expected the young Nkosingiphile Ngcobo, a mainstay of last year's Gavin Hunt, to be back to the team.

In the previous campaign, Baccus problems were already clear when Hunt spared the last year of his agreement, and now the midfielder needs to prove what he can do if he wants to have his long-term future with the Chiefs.

There are indications that Baccus may be able to conclude a previous deal in January – six months before the expiry of its initial agreement on 30 June – shortly to examine his future.
