Pitso Mosimane left frustrated by Percy Tau

The 57 year old Al Ahly hear coach Pitso Mosimane was left frustrated by Percy Tau and his fellow attackers as Al Ahly failed to won their Egyptian Premier League match when they faced off against El-Geish, a club that is currently stuck in the mid-table of the league.

The reds were a wasteful side when they faced off against their opponents in a 0-0 draw, and this was an opportunity for them to close off the gap against Zamalek who are currently topping the league table. Al Ahly were a dominant side on this encounter but with every opportunity created they were still unable to capitalise on the chances they created and Mosimane was not happy at all about that situation.

Mosimane even pointed out that his attackers wasted chances the likes of Percy Tau, Mohamed Sherif, Hossam Hassan as well as Salah Mohsen. He even asked "The four strikers in my team were wasteful, what do I do?" This situation may force Mosimane to consider buying new reliable strikers on the next transfer window amidst rumours that Peter Shalulile is wanted by Mosimane, the Mamelodi Sundowns man might be the best solution that Al Ahly would need for next season and beyond.

Some of Mosimane's players were unavailable as a result of the fatigue and for that reason je had to improvise, even besides the issue of the lack of midfielders from his team he still retaliates about how his strikers created chances but ended up being wasteful at the end of the day and this costed them two points as they played to a 0-0 draw against El Gaish, and Zamalek are now six points clear from Al Ahly. However, the reds still have an advantage in the Egyptian league as they have three games in hand and if they win all of their remaining games they will manage to have maximum points in the league.
