Kaizer Chiefs legend Robson Muchichwa has lashed out at his former club players, and has not been impressed with what is currently happening at the club.
After an embarrassing defeat in the Nedbank Cup by GladAfrica championship team Richards Bay United, last week Sunday which almost ended their hopes of any silverware this season. Muchichwa says some players have proven that they are not Chiefs material.
Chiefs finished the game with 10 men after Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya who had a rare opportunity to start, got an unnecessary red card by fouling player unnecessary forgetting that he was already on a yellow card.
Amakhosi are expected to make a squad overhaul, at the end of the season. But Muchichwa has warned the club bosses to make their decisions very careful.
The club will need to be very careful when making their decisions, sometimes you can say you are taking care of the situation, then you are killing it dead. The need to be clever transition, for me most of these players need to go they don't deserve to be there, Muchichwa told Kickoff.com.
The Chiefs Legent says his very disappointed with players like Ntiya-Ntiya and Siphelele Ntshangase, who have failed to make impact every time they are given an opportunity to play.
I think these guys have failed the team, they've been there for how many seasons now? I think two or four seasons but they are still at the same level no improvement. Maybe they don't realise why they are there. As a player you need to take a look at yourself, then say what have i done for the team, so far they have done nothing, Muchichwa added.
