PSL Player Completed A Deal With CAF Champions League Regulars, Check Him Out
The January transfer window has treated some of the Premier Soccer League outcasts well as some has completed moves which will get their professional football careers back on track. Football in South Africa does not always gaurentee regular game-time as there are way too many talented players competing for the very same spots on the first team. Some talented players are just very unfortunate as they are underused at their clubs, and the best possible solution are always a move away where game-time is gaurenteed.
Premier Soccer League player Michael Ovella Ochieng is a very talented midfielder and is known for his spell with Marumo Gallants in the DStv Premiership. According to reports, Ochieng has parted ways with Marumo Gallants after an unsuccessful stint. The PSL club has failed to register the player for the current campaign, but that's not a problem for Ochieng anymore as he reportedly signed for a new club abroad. According to recent reports coming from a reliable source, the player has now completed a move to Botswana where he will join Township Rollers.
Township Rollers is a great club in Botswana and sometimes feature in the CAF Champions League that's how good they are. There has been interest in the player from other PSL clubs, but due to the lack of seriousness, he already agreed to a deal with the Botswana club, and will SA his goodbyes to the Premier Soccer League. “Michael Ovella Ochieng has officially parted ways with Marumo Gallants and has signed with Township Rollers in Botswana", the source confirmed.
“There has been interest in the PSL but by the time the clubs that showed interest, (expressed) seriousness, he had already agreed on a deal with Township Rollers. Township Rollers is a big club in Botswana and Ochieng is confident of bouncing back with them after his disappointment at Marumo. Also, it is easy to get other offers from other big clubs elsewhere when a player plays for Township Rollers as they are a team that sometimes play in the CAF Champions League and that’s why it wasn’t difficult for him to decide to join the club", the source concluded.
Michael Ovella Ochieng will now get some game-time which he deserves as a talented football player. Botswana is a good place to play football, hope he gets to play in the CAF Champions League with them on another occasion.
