Forget About Haaland, Pep Guardiola Names Man City Star Who Is Difficult To Stop

With a 2-0 victory against West Ham on Sunday, Pep Guardiola got his championship defense off to a strong start.

Earling Haaland addressed his critics at London Stadium after scoring a brace in the Sky Blues' curtain-raiser against Liverpool after the community shield closure.

Before the final whistle blew, the Norwegian wonderkid put Manchester City in the driving seat from the penalty spot before making a spectacular run to increase the visitors' lead before the final whistle.

Haaland scored a brace, but Kevin De Bryune's assist on the second goal for the ex-Burrusia Dortmund player has sparked debate.

Asked about Earling Haaland's second goal, Pep referred to Kevin De Bryune as "impossible to stop" in his admiration.

"Kevin is impossible to stop after a brilliant goal by Jack, who has the goal all to himself after keeping possession, drew opponents aside, and found the ideal pass for Rodri. Five in the back of the box will be common in many games. We'll have to come up with a solution."
