Decision To Loan Out Young Striker Might Haunt Pirates

Andries Sebola thinks that Radiopane deserves to be in the starting lineup because newcomer Evidence Makgopa has been deemed unprepared to play for a "big club like Pirates." This will ensure that the Soweto giants have depth up front because Tshegofatso Mabasa is also on loan to Sekhukhune United and Zakhale Lepasa is prone to injury.

The last two seasons have been difficult for Pirates in the final third since many of their forwards have been sidelined by chronic injuries.

Because Radiopane is a developing player, the club ought to have kept him. Sebola asked the Siya crew, Why are we developing for other teams when we should be growing for the senior team?

Lending him out was not the best move if you ask me, he said, since Radiopane is a powerful striker and he scored many goals in the reverse league [DStv Diski Challenge] last season.

Sebola, a former hitman, is concerned about Pirates' current roster of four strikers, which includes Kwame Peprah. However, he is hopeful that the club will sign at least two strikers.
