In their latest fixture, Hungry Lions FC faced off against Cape Town Spurs away from home, and picked up another point after the match ended in a 1-1 draw at full-time. Hungry Lions FC trailed the match 1-0 when Cape Town Spurs took the lead at 1-0 when Diassonama Bunga scored in the 46th minute.
Hungry Lions FC got back in the match when Vuyisile Wana scored in the 65th minute to level the score on 1-1. Hungry Lions FC held onto their goal and ended the match in a 1-1 draw at full-time for a point.
Hungry Lions FC is now in the second place spot on the GladAfrica Championship log standings with 9 points as they remain unbeaten to date after 5 matches played.
