After his unsuccessful spell at Amakhosi, it was time to start a new life for the KwaZulu-Natal born star.
He was heavily linked with a move to the newly promoted side Sekhukhune United, however, it was reported that he did not the coach's expectations.
He was released and started training with Marumo Gallants, who needs as much experience as they can get since they are currently participating in the continental competition.
As things stand, they are two steps away from registering their name to the group stages.
It is the first time the club participates in the CAF competition. Joining the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and some other clubs in South Africa who has participated in the competition before.
