Orlando Pirates are currently playing against Royal Leopards in the CAF Confederations Cup Group B in their second encounter in the group. Orlando Pirates are hosting Leopards and the Premier Soccer League club has taken the lead against the visitors.

Royal Leopards held Orlando Pirates to a goalless first half draw, but the second half of the match started in favour of Orlando Pirates. Pirates opened the scoring just a few minutes after the second half kicked off as Fortune Makaringe scored the opening goal in the 48th minute for the 1-0 lead. Fortune Makaringe scored of Goodman Mosele's assist to see his side in front. Orlando Pirates made it 2-0 when Kabelo Dlamini scored in the 56th minute just 8 minutes later for the extended lead.

Orlando Pirates won the first group match against Royal Leopards with a high 6-2 score against their CAF group opponents, with Makaringe and Kabelo Dlamini's goals now the eight goal the club has scored against Royal Leopards in just two matches.

The match is still ongoing with Orlando Pirates holding the advantage leading by two goals. Orlando Pirates are currently leading the group with 9 points as they reclaimed their lead in the top spot going above Al-Ittihad Tripoli. Orlando Pirates with their 2-0 lead looks set to win the match, but it ain't over until the final whistle has gone off.
