Just after the announcement made by Kaizer Chiefs Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung that Stuart Baxter part ways with the club , DStv premiership club Sekhukhune United have announced the former Ts Galaxy FC head coach Owen DA Gama as the new Co-Coach. He is going to work with McDonald Makhubedu who is struggling to get the results.
Thabo Sanong will continue as the club assistant coach.Owen DA Gama has coached number of clubs in the PSL including the South African national team under 23 and being the assistant coach with BafanaBafana. DA Gama was fired by club Ts Galaxy following the club poor results.Thou Sekhukhune United is not at risk for automatic relegation but they will have to fight to avoid playoffs.
Earlier in the season the club made number of signings including former Kaizer Chiefs captain Willard Katsande and Baroka FC defender Talent Sekhukhune United in their first season in the top flight should be happy to avoid relegation.
