Keagan Ritchie might join Swallows after impressing coach at training

The former Bidvest Wits Football Club defender who left the team after its sold it status to Limpopo side Tskakuma Tsa Madzivhandila could still stay in Gauteng.

Ritchie who began training with Swallows Football Club while his still a free agent and still seeking a team as he began with the Dube Birds.

The 30 year old born from Alberton who played for Moroka Swallows before they were relegated to National First Division in 2011and went on a long run to return for the elite league.

Ritchie will be joining the likes of Wandisile Letlabika, Ruzeghn Gamaldien, and Musa Nyathama and nine other players who have joined the Dube Birds.

Having spent two years with the students since 2018 from Supersport and also played for the Naturena side Kaizer Chiefs and went to win the league under coach Stuart Baxter.

He won't be stranger to the Dube Birds as he once played for the team but now coming as a new philosophy will come as challenge for the defender if he were to join the Birds.

The Dube Birds will be keen to put more at training and might lend the defender to the team and be ready for the resuming of the league.
