Kaizer Chiefs on a verge of signing another talented winger

(Source: thesouthafrican.com)

Kaizer Chiefs is expected to go through a squad overhaul at the end of the season. Since the team wasn't able to sign new players for two-window transfers due to the transfer ban sanctioned by FIFA. This meant Chiefs had to remain with the same players for the past couple of seasons, which have continuously failed to win silverware for the past six years. This isn't something that the Chiefs' faithful like to talk about as it's painful that the Soweto giants cannot put a right forward in the DStv Premiership, as it has been disappointments after disappointments. The only answer to Chiefs problems at the moment is getting the quality and talented players at Naturena.

Now, it has been reported that the Cape Town Spurs winger Abednego Mosiatlhaga is set to make a career-changing move to Chiefs at the end of the current season. He has been instrumental at the Mother City side in several games. It's believed that he needed a challenge as he has been enjoying his time within the GladAfrica Championship. The time has arrived for him to step up to a different level. Mosiatlhaga is known as a quality player that operates in the right-wing position and will give it his all on the game to see his team win. With his contract set to expire with Spurs at the end of the season, he will be eligible to join any team of his choice. However, Spurs have an option to renew his contract, which they're will to take as they still require his services in the club. This means that Chiefs would have to pay a transfer fee if they want Mosiatlhaga's services.

The 26-year-old has previously worked with Amakhosi head coach Gavin Hunt which means that they're familiar with each other. This would be a superb reunion as he wants to showcase his talent on a greater scale. Where better than Chiefs can he achieve that at the moment? There's room for players to raise their hands at Naturena and be counted as core members of the squad. "I know there have been discussions, but they weren't formal because the boy had to focus on finishing the season with his team... What I know is that he wants to play in the DStv Premiership and Chiefs is a perfect team for him," said a reliable source talking to The Citizen.
