After months out injured, Mamelodi Sundowns forward Mauricio Affonso has finally returned to the pitch.
Affonso last played for the Brazilians in December 2019. In his absence, the Pretoria based side has won almost every cup on offer.
Masandawana also currently lead the log standings and are also still in line to clinch the Nedbank Cup.
Speaking to his club's website, the deadly forward has promised to contribute to his club's objectives for the season.
“I hope I can contribute my part, I know that it will take me a while to get back to my best level but I will continue working daily to be better so I can be able to help the team achieve the objectives of the season”, concluded Affonso.
His job won't be easy as the likes of Shalulile and Erasmus have been firing on all cylinders since the start of season.
