South African football has a culture of entertaining and skilful football, however we rarely get to witness it on a professional level. Fans usually flock to the stadiums for amateur tournaments and recently coming from the festive season it is still fresh in the minds. We've seen the attention divert into this kind of football and a couple of players emerged as the next big things in South African football.
This star has been terrorizing defenders in the DStv Premiership over the last couple of seasons and he is currently the best striker in the league. He is on his second season with Mamelodi Sundowns and already he has cemented his place within the club's history books and he looks prime for more. He is currently the leading goal scorer in the league and is on course to claim the honors for the 2nd consecutive season.
Peter Shalulile took to social media to share a rare playful video of himself. The star could be seen attempting to do Kasi Flava skills and kneeling in the ball in front of Rulani Mokwena. He quickly lost control of the ball before retreating from the pyring eyes of his coach who was left in stitches.
We hardly see this side of his personality as he is focused on his career most of the time. The star has a close relationship with Rulani Mokwena and they are always working closely together in training. He is clearly enjoying his time at Mamelodi Sundowns and is looking to win more trophies with the club.
He is currently 28 years and we could say that he bloomed late with Highlands Park. He has expressed his desire to play overseas someday after winning the CAF Champions league with Mamelodi Sundowns. We can rest assured that he learned a thing or two during his time in the country. He is a talented player and a regular for Namibia, however they also didn't qualify for the ongoing 2022 AFCON tournament.
