Watch: Lepasa shares Pirates memories he had with Mntambo

Football has grown over the years to become one of the most important sports in the world. It is played by millions, if not billions, of people all over the world and has brought people of different races, religions, and genders together as one.

Only a few million people around the world play the sport professionally. Unlike everyone else, they know how important it is to be a pro because it gives them an edge over their opponents.

Most of the players form partnerships on the field, which leads to a sense of brotherhood on the field. This is something that Zakhele Lepasa and Linda Mntambo know a lot about.

Since Lepasa came back from his loan at TS Galaxy Football Club in 2019/2020, they have been great friends. Their relationship has grown to the point where many people think they are more than friends because they are always together.

But their time together at Orlando Pirates Football Club is over. Mntambo was let go by the Buccaneers after four seasons, and he is said to be on his way to Sekhukhune United Football Club.

Lepasa was sad to see his best friend leave the club, so the South African male youth international, who is 25 years old, decided to talk about some of the good times he and Mntambo had at Pirates.

He posted a video of some of the fun times they had together while Mntambo was still at the club on his Instagram account, @zakhelelepasa.

I have to say that it is sad that the two won't be on the same team anymore, but I'm sure that their friendship and brotherhood will last a lifetime.

We wish Figo the best of luck in his future endeavors, which we hope will be as bright as he is.
