Former Chiefs star to hold Youth Day event

All is for the Masihambisane Walk and Family Picnic hosted by the former chiefs of Kaizer's and the star of Mamelodi Sundown.

Despite all of the problems Covid-19 has brought to the lives of the people, Mendu Jabulani continues his positive actions of ploughing back through its foundation in his village of Vosloorus.

The former Premier Soccer League player has organized a daily musical and entertaining event at Crisp Lifestyle in Vosloorus on Wednesday 16 June 2021.

"There's a place called Crispy in Vosloorus, where our walk begins and ends." explains Mendu.

"There are a 5km and an 8km walk and following the trek, family barbecues will take place.

Food will be there, music performers will be performed too, and there will be a stall for the apparel of the Jabulani Mendu Foundation.

"The reason we opted to walk and not run is because everyone - young, old, crisp, etc. – can spend time on a walk and have a discussion with someone while they are strolling. This is educational. " At the same time, it is a meeting and greeting as we train young people.
