Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that one of their youngest prospects has joined Maritzburg United on loan until the end of the current campaign.
Keletso Sifama, 17, who was handed his debut in the senior team last season by former mentor Ernst Middendorp will be reunited with the German tactician at the KwaZulu-Natal outfit.
Amakhosi confirmed in a statement on deadline day that Sifama will turn out for the Team of Choice until the end of the 2020/21 season.
"Striker Keletso Sifama has moved to Maritzburg United on loan until the end of the 2020/21 season. We wish the youngster all of the best during his spell at United," read the update on their official Twitter page.
Having been promoted by Middendorp in August last year before going on to make his full professional debut against Mamelodi Sundowns, Sifama will now be hoping to getting a few more minutes under his belt before returning to Amakhosi next season.
This season, he has only managed three appearances under Hunt, who has opted for the tried and tested upfront in Samir Nurković and Leonardo Castro.
