OPINION: Why Ronaldo Show Respect To The Fans Whenever They Lost a Game

After falling to Leicester City on Saturday, 16 October 2021, in the eighth matchday of the 2021/2022 Premier League season, Manchester United was beaten for the second time this season. The game concluded 4-2 in favor of Leicester City, who came from behind to earn all three points at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

With Jadon Sancho and Mason Greenwood on the flanks and Cristiano Ronaldo in the center of the field, Manchester United had a strong start to their Premier League campaign. The pace of these strikers was not enough to lift Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team to victory, and Cristiano Ronaldo was once again unable to score a goal. Mason Greenwood scored the game-winning goal in the 19th minute of play, launching a powerful rocket into the top right corner of the net from outside the box.

Youri Tielemans equalized the score in the 32nd minute of the game, resulting in a 1-1 tie at the end of the first half. Leicester City took the lead in the second half through Turkish defender Soyuncu, before Manchester United substitute Marcus Rashford equalized. In the last minutes of the game, Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka sealed the victory for the home team with goals.

The quickness with which Leicester City regained the lead was extremely impressive on the part of Brendan Rodgers' players, who were at their best throughout the game. This was a very devastating day for the five-time Ballon d'Or winner, who managed only one chance on goal throughout the entire match. Immediately after the final whistle sounded, the Portugal international attempted to storm out of the tunnel, but Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stopped him and asked that he welcome the visiting fans, according to The Daily Express.

This behavior by Ronaldo is completely unprofessional, and the fact that it has come from a sportsman of Ronaldo's quality is quite upsetting, to say the least. Despite the fact that no one enjoys losing a game, it does not follow that individuals who go long distances to watch you play do not deserve to be recognized. Because the first incident occurred following the club's 1-1 draw with Everton in their most recent Premier League match, this will be the second time he has behaved in this manner since joining the club.

Firstly, I would want to thank Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for his courage and leadership in stopping Cristiano Ronaldo and demanding that he carry out the necessary actions. Ronaldo is without a doubt one of the greatest players in the history of the game, but he needs to learn to control his frustrations and show respect to the fans, because they are the ones who pay to a portion of his enormous wages.
