The 2020/21 DStv Premiership defending champions have decided to reach their cheque book and get an exciting talent to their establishment. This follows after the ABC Motsepe League side Black Poison have confirmed that one of their key players has signed a new deal with Mamelodi Sundowns. This time around it was the Orlando West starlet Camagu Mdevulana’s turn to be part of one of the biggest teams in South Africa.
By the looks of things, Sundowns have kept an eye on Mdevulana for the past couple of months, as they were monitoring his performance. This was a smooth move as Black Poison is owned by the Brazilian co-coach Rulani Mokwena. The whole news of the 19-year-old star moving to Chloorkop was confirmed by the Gauteng amateur club via an official statement. “Black Poison Football Club is extremely excited to finally confirm that Camagu Mdevulana has completed a transfer to Mamelodi Sundowns FC,” read the Black Poison official statement.
“Dinho” joined Poison when he was 10-years-old and has been able to grow within the club in leaps and bounds. And he’s regarded as one of their best youngsters. Hence, it made sense for Downs to give him a bigger opportunity as they believe in his talents and work rate. According to reports, Mdevulana will be part of the youth teams at Sundowns, in hope that he will get promoted to be part of the first team. Nothing is holding back Dinho as he has shown that if a player puts in the work, remains disciplined, and focus on his goal then nothing can stop him. Sundowns are still working on their future as they feel that they’ve mastered their yesterday and today. Which is all visible in their hunger on the pitch, and they throw everything they have on their opponents.
