Former Kaizer Chiefs star Mayo: Hugo Broos is our right man

Former Bafana Bafana striker Patrick Mayo has boldly predicted that Hugo Broos' side will secure back-to-back wins over Ethiopia in their World Cup qualifying campaign.

Although Broos' reign as Bafana head coach has gotten off to a positive start, Mayo claims to not be totally convinced by the Belgian's selections.Because the team is winning Broos can be seen as doing a satisfactory job," Mayo tells

Although he is doing well by winning games, we still have some sort of question marks regarding his selection criteria. What he does different from previous coaches is he's consistent when it comes to selection,he doesn't chop and change because of form of players.

He called Chiefs Ngcobo even though he's not playing at club level,he ignored onform Lakay,South African coaches woul select certain bunch for this fifa brake, teach them his philosophy, but next fifa brake select different onform bunch and start from the scratch teaching them his approach.

I already gave him credit due to his confidence over our on coming youth as he doesn’t hesitate to give them chance to shine and with that I think we can build a better Bafana Bafana.SAFa is dead, should he continue telling SA the truth, they gonna fire him like they did to Shakes Mashaba.

He will get his credit ones Bafana qualify for the world cup. The problem with Bafana is they always start well in tournament qualifications, but it always end in tears. So let him qualify the team then he will get his credit.
