Mamelodi Sundowns Loanee Scored A Stunner For JDR Stars In Latest 2-1 Win

JDR Stars picked up their third win for the 2021/22 season in the GladAfrica Championship as they reckoned with Pretoria Callies 2-1 away from home. Mamelodi Sundowns loanee Malebogo Modise scored an incredible goal for JDR Stars as his goal got Stars back on level terms with Callies.

JDR Stars played their latest fixture in the GladAfrica Championship, as they faced off against Pretoria Callies away from home. JDR Stars won the match 2-1 at full-time as they won the match coming from 1-0 behind. Their latest win got them in the 3rd place spot on the GladAfrica Championship table with 9 points after 5 matches played to date.

Pretoria Callies opened the scoring in the early 22nd minute of the match for a 1-0 lead when Keletso Sifama scored. JDR Stars made a comeback when Malebogo Modise scored in the 39th minute to level the score on 1-1 before the half-time break.

In the second half of the match, JDR Stars claimed the lead for the first time when Ismael Wadi found the back of the net with his goal in the 67th minute for a 2-1 lead as the match neared the 90 minute mark. JDR Stars held onto their lead and won the match 2-1 at full-time for maximum points away from home.
