The English Premier League returned this weekend, with a number of games taking place. The match between Chelsea and Manchester United was the most anticipated match of the weekend. The game at Stamford Bridge finished in a 1-1 draw. After Jorginho made an error, Manchester United scored in the 50th minute through Jadon Sancho. Chelsea, on the other hand, equalized in the 67th minute with a penalty that Jorginho scored with ease.
The penalty awarded to Chelsea in the 66th minute has elicited a wide range of opinions from football fans. Anthony Taylor, according to many fans, should not have awarded Chelsea the penalty. When the penalty was awarded, several fans argue that Aaron Wan Bissaka, who caused the penalty, was not targeting Thiago Silva's legs. According to some supporters, Anthony Taylor's decision was so surprising because it was definitely not a penalty.
