Former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Mendu - 'Hunt has nothing to prove to Chiefs'

Jabulani Mendu has commented on suggestions that Gavin Hunt has something to prove when Chippa United face his former side Kaizer Chiefs.Former coach Hunt will return for the first time to FNB Stadium to face Kaizer Chiefs since being sacked last year by the Soweto giants.

Gavin has nothing to prove to Chiefs as well as Chiefs have nothing to prove to Gavin," Mendu tells Kickoff.com.It's just another game for three points. If Gavin can manage to lift a cup or guide Chippa to a Top Eight finish, then he will have proved that he's still a good coach. But let's not make it a big game, it's not a big game, it's Kaizer Chiefs at the end of the day playing against a small team in Chippa United. That will never change.

Just give Chippa Gavin the 3 points and spare yourself the embarrassment KaizerChiefs. But i wish Chippa United can win the game. After our win last night we waited junior khanye never arrived until now we can't eat besides him. I am impressed by the combinational play of number 8 and 10. If any PSL team sign number 10 they must also sign number 8. What a combo. Number 8 reminds me of the General Teko Modise killer passes. He must opt for pirates not chiefs, that Madala Baxter will turn him into a cow, he obviously killed the career of both Nk Ngcobo and Mashiane.
