Nine nations have already booked their spot in to the world cup 2022

"The 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar for the first time in the traditional summer of November and December to show justice to the warm temperatures of the golf country. The

FIFA World Cup is one of the greatest sporting events in the world. Members of the International Football Federation (FIFA) compete for the World Cup every four years. The first championship was held in 1930 and every four years, with the exception of World War II in 1942 and 1946.

As of 2022, 210 teams are eligible for the championship. Only 32 teams will decide the winner.

The nine countries that have already booked the last 32 spot of the

FIFA World Cup are:

Qatar

Germany

Denmark

Brazil

Belgium

France

Croatia

Spain


How many teams are there in the World Cup? 32

teams will participate in the 2022 Men's World Cup in Qatar, expanding the field of the 2026 World Cup to 48 teams. The FIFA Men's World Cup has featured 32 teams in the last six events since France in 1998.

31 countries secure the right to play with host Qatar in regional qualifiers. How many countries in each region will qualify:

Africa (CAF): 5

Asia (AFC): 4 plus 1 playoff qualifications

Europe (UEFA): 13

North / Central America and the Caribbean ( CONCACAF): 3, plus 1 playoff qualification

Oceania (OFC): 1 playoff qualification

South America (CONMEBOL): 4, plus 1 playoff qualification
