Tuesday 17th August 2021

PSL club proudly announced their latest signing to their squad ahead of the 2021/22 campaign as their seventh signing in the transfer window.

Seeing the current transfer window is still open until the end of August when it concludes on the 31st, some signings are still coming in strong. Although the rapid rate of speedy signings slowed down due to the clubs already reached the majority signings on their wishlists, the last wanted players are coming in low slow numbers.

Despite not many signings recently added and announced, one PSL club was proud to reveal and announce their latest signing to their club. Cape Town Spurs were proud to announce the signing of Reggy Xolani Zondi who played for Real Kings and Richards Bay FC. Spurs was proud to add their seventh official signing for the season which is not bad, as Zondi has the much needed GladAfrica Championship experience to add to Spurs mission for the 2021/22 season.

Zondi who's a 25-year-old winger are young and vibrant and his age is of advantage as he can add his youth to his new club. Spurs like any other club in the GladAfrica Championship aims to win promotion to the top flight which is the Dstv Premiership. The player on his announcement by the club made a statement as he said in confidence, "I am ready to work hard, I came here to help promote the team."

Sekhukhune United and Royal AM was the lucky one's to make it to the top flight. Sekhukhune United ended in the first place spot last season and won automatic promotion to the Dstv Premiership, and Royal AM who was in a long legal battle to fight for their top flight spot eventually made it to the Dstv Premiership as the club boss 'Mkhize' also known as Mamkhize bought Bloemfontein Celtic.

Spurs are now looking to do the same thing, wanting out of the GladAfrica Championship, as they put their fate in the seven signings they added to this point of the transfer window. Spurs had a bad season last time around in the GladAfrica Championship as they almost faced relegation. With a last attempt to save their Championship status, Spurs made away from the relegation zone in the last remaining matches.

Hope Spurs makes the best of it this time around. 👍 All the best on the new signings.
