It has been an incredibly season in the English Premiership as we saw Manchester City edge Liverpool to win the title. It was a very competitive season all teams fought very hard but there could only be one winner congratulations to Manchester City.
The battle for goalkeepers was also very tight we saw both goalkeepers from Liverpool and Manchester City share the Golden Gloove. They both finish the season with 20 clean sheets. Pictured above.
The Golden boot race was also down to the wire as Mohamad Salah and Son Heung Min were chasing the owners. However both Salah and Son also ended up sharing the Golden Boot as they both ended the season on 23 goals each. For the best of the season it seemed as if Mo Salah was going to easily win it but the goals soon dried up for the Egyptian talisman , Which gave Son a chance to catch up as he was in good form and he had very good season helping Tottenham Hotspurs earn top 4 finish.
The South korean talisman Son Heung Min has been the Asian best player of year for few seasons in row. That shows his consistency in front of the goal on regular basis, and the interesting part is that for all the 23 goals he scored none was from the penalty spot. While Salah scored a couple goals from the penalty spot.
From a Africans point of view I would have loved to see Salah win the Golden Boot but the honest truth is that Son Heung Min was a better player than him. The South Korean deserved it more because all his goals we scored from open play while others relied on penalties. This is your platform you can leave a comment below and share your views.
