Some things can make a winning team that is top of the table drop down no matter how good the coach or the players are. These mistakes must be avoided by all means.
In this article, I would be suggesting five things that can make sundowns lose their position are the club topping the South African Premier Division. Here
1. Lack of teamwork
This is the first thing that will make Sundowns drop down in the South African Premier Division table. Teamwork got them to the level that they are today, but anytime the players start to play without cooperation, then it will mark the beginning of their downfall.
2. Underrating the opponent
In football clubs must not be underrated no matter how poor they have been performing. Anytime Sundowns begin to underestimate the clubs in their league, know that they will start performing poorly and will lose even the simplest match in the South African Premier Division.
3. Becoming relax when playing games
The same energy that Sundowns started this season with should be maintained. They came in this season very strong with the zeal of winning the South African Premier Division, and if they keep on with the same energy, they will win the league, but if they relax, they won't win the league or probably drop from the table.
4. Getting many red cards in a match
Getting red cards will weaken the club, especially when Sundown's star players are the ones getting the red cards. Players with red stand the chances of being suspended from some matches, and if that happens to Sundown, they will lose some matches which may greatly affect them.
5. Lack of training regularly
Training is very essential for every player. Sundown players must regularly train so that they will keep performing very well in the next coming matches.
For me, all these things may greatly affect the team and will lead to them losing the South African Premier Division title. Feel free to drop your comment.
