Mamelodi Sundowns have a tough competition in all departments; therefore a player should be the best as to be given a chance to play.
George Maluleka is competing for a position with players such as, Andil Jali, Rivaldo Coetzee, Mvala, and Domingo. Currently, Maluleka is the third choice in his position because every time Coetzee or Jali are not playing, Mvala or Domingo become a replacement.
