There was a incident were the referee allowed a goal to stand after two balls were inside the football pitch. Golden Arrows passed the ball to a player who scored a goal against Orlando Pirates while Knox Mutziwa of Golden Arrows was still handling the ball inside the football pitch. The referee was supposed to stop the match and allow Arrows to take the through-in properly while there was no ball rolling inside the football pitch. The refereing in the PSL is poor and it is at a low standard which is questioned every single match of the 2020/21 Dstv Premier League.
