BROOS DESERVES OUR RESPECT.!

Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Doctor Khumalo has showered the South African Senior men's National team coach Hugo Broos with special praise after his charges brought down the stubborn Ethiopians down when they beat them in their own back yard on Saturday afternoon.

The former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder says South Africans should take off their hats for the Belgian tactician who came with his own phillosophy, he selected his own team which consists of young players, most of them are less than 10 caps, but Broos believes in them and they are doing well for him.

Khumalo says no one ever thought that Bafana Bafana would beat Ghana and Ethiopia with his young players, he feels South Africa has never had any coach that is better than him, he believes with the young team has, the country will go far.

"Hugo Broos deserves to be respected he is far better than our previous coaches. Imagine he is winning with young gems who haven't gain that experience to play in the national team but he managed to beat Ghana and Ethiopia with those young boys, with him we can go very far. He is one of best coaches that coach the national teams, who thought that we will beat Ghana with players like Mothobi Mvala, Ethan Brooks, Hlongwane, Blom and Makgopa," he said.

Bafana Bafana are currently on top of the group table with seven points out of three games, two wins and one draw, they have so far in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers conceded only one goal and scored four.

Broos and his lads will be hosting Ethiopia on Tuesday and will be hoping to pick up where they left and win the game to maintain their top spot on the group, Ghana in the mean time will be visiting our neighbouring country Zimbabwe who are struggling to win games in these qualifiers.
