The Nigerian international goalkeeper has been on the sidelines and according to sources at the club, he will struggle to breaking into the starting eleven.
The source stated that some of the goalkeepers have taken advantage of Ofori's absence to impress the coaches.
The source stated that Siyabonga Mpontshane could be the new number one as he has impressed the Bucs technical team with his work ethic at the club.
“Siya has been in the stands for some time now, he has been third-choice keeper, with the coaches preferring Wayne or Ofori over him. We all know that he only played when those two were injured. But this time around the coaches thought it’s best to give him a chance because even when he was left out of the match day squad, he still gave everything at training," said the source.
Mpontshane blew the roof when he relegated Wayne Sandilands to the bench when Ofori was sidelined.
