Predicted Sundowns Starting XI To Face Chiefs

Since the Brazilians lost their last game, the club may make some changes to their lineup. Here is how we think they may play:

• Goalkeeper - Ronwen Williams

As soon as he signed with Sundowns, it was clear that he would be the club's top player, so we expect him to start his third straight game in goals.

The former Black Leopards Football Club star has been one of the club's best players over the past year, and he is expected to start ahead of Thapelo Morena again.

• Left back - Lyle Lakay

Since he's been on the bench for the last two games, Lakay is likely to start at left back instead of Aubrey Modiba.

• Rushine De Reuck and Brian Onyango are the center backs.

The two of them played together in Sundowns' last game, and they are expected to keep playing together at the center of Sundowns' defense.

• Andile Jali and Hashim Domingo, who play in the middle of the field.

Jali, an experienced central middle fielder, is likely to start his first game of the season and play in the middle of the field with Domingo.

• Themba Zwane is an attacking midfielder.

The 33-year-old will start his third game of the season and is likely to be the captain.

• Abubeker Nassir, Peter Shalulile, and Gaston Sirino make up the first three rows.

In the new frontline, Nasir and Sirino will replace Neo Maema and Thabiso Kutumela on either side of Shalulile. In the last game, Neo Maema and Thabiso Kutumela were on either side of Shalulile.

Sundowns will give themselves every chance to win the game, even though it's likely to be hard for both teams. Their players are good enough to beat any other team in the league.

But I think this team will give the Chiefs enough of a challenge to make this a classic game.
