ICYMI: Have Mamelodi Sundowns just paved the way for Kaizer Chiefs to sign Sipho Mbule?

Considering the fact that Mamelodi Sundowns will be getting rid of probably three midfield players in the form of Sibusiso Vilakazi, George Maluleka, Hlompho Kekana they need to reconstruct their entire midfield

Because in a sense all three of those midfield players have all played crucial parts in the success Mamelodi Sundowns have had for the past four seasons or so except of course the fact that George Maluleka only arrived at the club last season

As a consequence of that Mamelodi Sundowns midfield is in desparate need of a shake up and reinforcements as they have been eying some of the best midfielders in the country to help them continue where they are at the moment which is winning

That is why Mamelodi Sundowns have been heavily linked with the signing and services of both Sipho Mbule and Teboho Mokoena from SuperSport United despite the fact that both players could come at a very heavy cost for the Brazilians

Then again Mamelodi Sundowns would not be bothered that much by that as they can afford to pay whatever that it takes to sign either one or even both players as they have the financial resources to do so and make that kind of blockbuster deal happen

And anyone would have assumed that considering Mamelodi Sundowns are so heavily linked with signing a top class midfield player if indeed news had surfaced that they have signed one it would have definitely been either Sipho Mbule or Teboho Mokoena

Then again it would appear that it is not Sipho Mbule or Teboho Mokoena as Mamelodi Sundowns are thought to have splashed a staggering R18million on Bolivian midfield maestro Erwin Mario Saavedra Flores

And perhaps the signing of Erwin Mario Saavedra Flores has probably now ended any potential interest that Mamelodi Sundowns had in either one of Sipho Mbule or Teboho Mokoena paving the way for Kaizer Chiefs to sign them
