UEFA Champions League

3 Liverpool star players who could be blamed for their loss to Real Madrid in the UCL final

There are three prominent players from Liverpool who could be held responsible for their team's loss to Real Madrid in the Champions League final.

If we take a closer look at their most recent five previous matches, we can see that the Whites have come out on top versus the Reds every time.

1. Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Englishman is a fantastic player who excels on the offensive end but frequently has trouble holding his own defensively.

2. Mohamed Salah.

The forward for Liverpool, who has been outstanding this year, was not at his best when they played the team from La Liga.

Salah was unable to score on multiple occasions because the goalkeeper for Madrid stopped all of his attempts on goal. The Egyptian was never at his best, and his performance was not particularly impressive at any point.

3. Sadio Mane.

The international player from Senegal had the finest opportunity of the game, but Thibaut Courtois was there to make the save.

Both Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah were relatively quiet throughout the game until the final whistle blew, which occurred during the second half of the competition.
