Speculation has been swirling regarding futures of some of the players at Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs, with head coach Gavin Hunt expected to wield the axe on deadwoods at the end of the season, and there is one particular striker whose future is uncertain.

Since signing for Amakhosi from Zambian giants Zesco FC just under two years ago, hitman Lazarous Kambole has not really lived up to expectations, and there are suggestions that he could offloaded in this current transfer window.
Kambole who was a proven goalscorer in his native Zambia, has only managed to hit the back of the net on one occasion in 26 matches, and poor return considering the huge investment Chiefs made on bringing him on board - they paid Zesco a whopping R3-million.

However, former Amakhosi striker and Kambole's compatriot, Rotson Kilambe who endured a terrible stint at Naturena during the 2006/07, which only scored three goals in 12 matches, has offered words of encouragement for his countryman, saying he does not need to go out on loan as he needs to stay on and fight for his place.
"He must devise a way of showing the coach that he needs to play a bit more than he has done," Kilambe told Kickoff
"He really needs game time. He doesn’t need to go on loan. For me I think he needs to stay there so that the coach can give him enough game time and he gets to prove himself. He must fight on," he added.

If things do not positively change for him, Kambole will certainly be on the firing line come the end of the season.
Chiefs set have one of their most important transfer windows in recent seasons, as their FIFA transfer ban will be coming to an end and their are huge expecatations that there will be huge movements of players in and out.
Do you think Kambole should ask for a loan move to get some much-needed time?

02-15 16:06:37Kambole has been given enough chance to prove himself, but failed to grab the opportunity with both hands! Maybe a change of scene might help him to find his footing.
