The Alexandra born got injured while at EA Guingamp before the start of the 2020/21 season, he has a mountain to climb as his side lie on the 17th position on the Ligue 2 table.

They are in a relegation zone as 1 point separates them from the 18th placed team called Chambly, Lebogang Phiri as the captain of the team will be expected to inspire his side to avoid been relegated to the 3rd division of France football.
This news of him returning to training will most certainly please Bafana Bafana head coach Molefi Ntseki as he will be expected to name a strong side that will be able to get three(3) points from the Black stars of Ghana, the EA Guingamp captain falls in that category.
