Shauwn Mkhize was saddened by the DStv Premiership match outcome, hence she didn't post celebration videos like usual on her social media pages. Today, the 14th of August 2022, Shauwn Mkhize wrote a message to the Royal AM footballers, wishing them all the best on today's match and expressing how sad and touched she is by yesterday's match outcomes.
"Good morning everyone, yesterday was emotional, my boys suffered their first loss and that hit hard. I'm reminded, that this is all in a day of football, one minute you're first on the log and the next you are coming home with zero points. But there is no time to dwell on the past, the plan is to go back to the drawing board, analyse our mistakes and come up with solutions so that we come back even stronger." Shawn Mkhize said.
Even though Royal AM Boys FC lost yesterday, Shawn Mkhize still has hope that Royal AM Ladies FC will make her and the rest of the football club proud today. Royal AM Ladies FC will be playing against Vasco Da Gama Women.
"I am super lucky though to have Royal AM Ladies FC who are playing against Vasco Da Gama today! I'm wishing them all the best and hope they can seal and collect away points considering that today is our first anniversary, I will need a cheering up." Shawn Mkhize added, wishing Royal AM Ladies FC all the best on their football match today with Vasco Da Gama.
