Orlando Pirates is club that is rich in history and represent a certain angle of South African football. They are one of the oldest team in the top flight in recent years and this arguably the biggest club in the country. This is also a club that has experienced its fair share of ups and downs through losing a person who instrumental into where they are today. This was an unsung hero in the success the club enjoyed over the years which is why it is amazing to see her get her flowers.
This star hasn't had the best time in the early stages of the season and this has led to a lack of game time. The coaches have opted for the new man in Olisah Ndah in the last 2 games and he has been amazing to watch so far. His pairing with Happy Jele has left fans impressed, however this won't be too good for this star as he will lose his spot in the starting line up.
Thulani Hlatshwayo took to social media to share pictures as he embarked on a joint campaign between Orlando Pirates and Adidas in memory of the late Zodwa Khoza. The star went on a mini tour to personally deliver the jersey to a couple of celebrities within the football community and outside.
He is also an Adidas athlete so it makes perfect sense for this job to be given to him as he was representing both his interests. He visited people like TT Mbha, DJ Ankletap, and Jerry Skhosana to name a few. The star also posed for the Adidas heritage range that will be honoring the club's history through merchandise.
The range is available in store for fans to buy and it is quite stylish and vintage. Thulani Hlatshwayo might not be having the best time on the field, however he is clearly enjoying himself while carrying out his off field duties. He is an organic player and fan of the club and has a passion for the brand which is probably the most important thing.mm
