Gavin Hunt duration has been longer in previous teams compare to the time when he was still at Chiefs. He managed to win trophies while he was at Wits and Supersport. However things were not the same at Chiefs. There was too much pressure at Naturena.
He was constantly looking over his shoulders at kaizer Chiefs. It was the first time he experience such a strange feeling in a long time. He is likely to experience the same thing at Chippa given the the latest results against Kaizer Chiefs.
According to reports Gavin Hunt is now pleading with the fans to give him more time in order for him to replicate what he achieved at Wits or Supersport. He is adamant that even if you call successful coaches like Pitso or Rhulani to take over at Chippa United as experienced as they are, they will fail in their mission to win the league at Chippa on their first season. He is adamant that he needs more time to win the league title at Chippa. His concern is that he does not have time given Chippa Mpengesi's reputation.
All he is pleading for is more time and more players to build a strong foundation.
You don't have time Mpengesi is going to fire you if you do not turn things around. You were suppose to think of this before you sign a contract with Chippa. John Maduka is winning games at Royal AM creating stars out of nothing. You just have grind a positive results said social media user.
Chippa Mpengesi did confirm that he will give Hunt all the support that he wants but that was before Chiefs game. We don't know, what is going to happen now since he lost with such a huge margin.
