The Colombian born player was among the list of players that were released by Amakhosi to make space for the new arrivals.
His current deal with Chiefs will end at the end of the month and will not be renewed.
He will be ending his four year stay at the club after joining from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Speaking to Kickoff Magazine the player said he will be going home next week, and has insisted that he could have been at home long time ago but he was waiting for the kids to close the schools.
"Once I’m back home I will see what happens next but the beauty about all of this is that I will be with my family," he said.
He added that from there he will start weighing his options because he has kids and wife to consider first.
He said maybe he will join one of the teams that he has played for before or go to South America where it will be easier for him to travel than being in South Africa.
He added that being away from home has to make sense, and has insisted that he would rather earn less money while he is closer to home because it takes about 35 hours to travel from South Africa to his home.
