In life we all have different paths to follow which will in the end lead us to our destiny. In most instances many of us have to start somewhere before we finally realise our main purpose in life. At one point in life our paths may be link, but the end is very much different. That is definitely the case with footballers who spend years nurturing their talents together from a young age up until life finally takes them on different paths.
Back in the early 2000s Ajax Cape Town had a vast amount of talent at their disposal, who could ever forgot the likes of Calvin Marlin, Brent Evans, Steven Pienaar, Brent Carelse and Shaun Permall. Most of these listed footballers were the glue that held the team together and during that time Ajax Cape Town was one of the most feared teams in the country.
As everyone in life has their own path to follow some would go to even ply their trade also abroad with the exception of Brent Carelse and Shaun Permall. In the case of the latter, still a youngster during those days he went to land a lucrative deal to join Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs, a childhood dream of his which went to become a reality.
The above listed players have since went to retire comfortably but in the case of Shaun Permall he has since ventured into a different career, which is not even football related. We have since had the opportunity to learn that Shaun Permall is now a public servant. From our investigations we have since went to learn that he is now a law enforcement officer.
According to information gathered we have since went to learn that he currently works as a law enforcement officer for the city of Cape Town. We would also have the opportunity to learn that he also works as an inspector in schools where he deals with children who faces drug problems and gangsterism.
