The Cloorkop-based team, according to a source, has turned down a loan request for its best player. Kennedy Mweene and Onyango have recently been relied upon by Sundowns. Reyaad Pieterse, a former Chiefs goalie, has also been used. However, he suffered a serious injury in the previous game and had to be stretchered off.
Last season, Goss only appeared five times for Tshwane Giants in all competitions. When he originally arrived at Sundowns, the team was looking for a capable backup for both Mweene and Onyango. However, it appears that he has been assigned to a fourth option for the time being.
Due to a lack of game time at Sundowns, some PSL teams have inquired about Goss.
Sundowns are not keen on letting him go, according to a source, even if the suitors can return in January. Sundowns will continue to turn down their offers. This season, Sundowns will compete in a number of tournaments, including the CAF Champions League. They would love to keep all of their present goalkeepers. They want to be well-protected in the event of a suspension or long-term injury.
