As a result of the announcement of the Cosafa Cup team, both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be forced to play the tournament without a few of their players.
Both Amakhosi and the Buccaneers have one player represented in the Cosafa Cup team that is currently active.
That is to say, they will not have access to these men until the 17th of July. This is due to the fact that the competition will take place from July 5 to July 17, 2022.
Keletso Sifama, a talented young player for the Chiefs, has reportedly been called up to the senior team.
Boitumelo Radiopane is now speaking alongside him. He was one of the surprises of the previous campaign. Both individuals show a lot of promise as strikers up front, but they won't be able to participate in at least two weeks of the DStv Premiership pre-season training with the Soweto giants because of their injuries.
