After they were thumled, humiliated and beaten hands down by Royal AM on Saturday, coach Stuart Baxter has been on the whipping end with fans throwing everything to him and calling do his sacking following the string of poor results, but one of his counterparts has stood up and defended Baxter and all the ex coaches who coached before and after him.
Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp has spoke about the situation at his former club and he feels it is not the coaches to be blamed for all the bad performances and the strong of poor results, he feels the fans think they can do a better job than all the coaches who have coached the team before.
According to reports, Middendorp says Chiefs fans used to call him all sports of names and even called him a plumber, he said perhaps it is time that the fans caoch the team by themselves.
The German coach was concerned and asked questions, he wondered why does the coach have to take a blame when a player scored and own goal and committed a free kick in a dangerous area, he feels it is unfair.
"Trust me Chiefs fans are destroying their own club, they were calling me a plumber and they were always against my XI, maybe they should coach their team. How could you blame a coach if a defender scores an own goal, or create a freekick in a dangerous position. We need to be honest Chiefs players are the once who cost the club," he said.
There has been a serious problem at Naturena ever since Baxter left in 2015, they haven't won a single trophy ever since and they were hoping that his return would bring some glory back, but it sees they are still going through a rough patch, they are now six points behind the log leaders they are on position 12 after four games, they managed to collect just four points.
