REVEALED: Pitso expose why he needed to come back ‘home’

Pitso Mosimane, who had recently signed a new two-year agreement with Egyptian powerhouses Al Ahly, requested permission to quit the club in a stunning move earlier this month.

But if Mosimane had no other opportunities or offers on the table, he wouldn't have asked to leave Al Ahly. Already at his position, he will likely be inundated with high-paying employment offers from all around the world.

This might be the first choice for the seasoned coach, who has previously mentioned that there are fresh prospects for African coaches in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

During his illustrious coaching tenure with Mamelodi Sundowns, Mosimane also served as caretaker coach for the national team for seven games in 2007.

Nonetheless, his social media comments raise some questions about how quickly the seasoned coach will jump into a new position.

Interestingly, Patrice Motsepe, president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has just publicly endorsed Mosimane's return as coach of Bafana Bafana.
