Austin Muwowo is a renowned Zambian footballer who is popular for previously playing for the Nkana football club. Today, he is a talented midfielder for Orlando Pirates.

The talented footballer was born on September 26 1996, in Chililabombwe Secondary School and later joined Malalo Sports Academy. The young man started showing interest in the game at quite an early age. While at the academy, the footballer grew to be fondly called Kawilo.
He joined Konkola Mine Police Football club in 2012, after the club won promotion from division one to Super League. This was after the club's coach Godfrey Siame found him as the best fit in an effort to revamp the team. After playing for two seasons, he was signed by coach Chambeshi to Nkana.
His talent, skill, passion and zeal for the game have seen him become a highly sought after footballer. The young man oozes confidence and on several occasions, has displayed top notch dribbling skills. In 2017, the player failed to get enough game time to be loaned at Kitwe United as he played for a short period. In 2018, he was further loaned out to Forest Rangers.
In mid 2019, the footballer was signed to Orlando Pirates at a transfer fee of $250,000. The player and his representative both received $210,000.
