Top four quality stars that Chiefs have signed, according to their former player

Kaizer Chiefs had a great opportunity to revamp their squad during the July-August transfer window. There has been a lot that has been said about how Chiefs approached the transfer window, as it seems like they didn’t go all out to get all the required players. Even though they were hit with a two-window FIFA transfer ban last season, which ended on the 30th of June. They were able to go to the market and got nine players that they felt will do the job according to Naturena. Now, the former Chiefs midfielder Junior Khanye has revealed his top four signings that the Soweto giants made for the 2021/22 campaign.

After all, the new players at Chiefs have been introduced and got a run under the club’s colors. Khanye has stated that not all Amakhosi new signings are good enough to shine within the club and absorb the pressure and use it to the best of their advantage. “Kaizer Chiefs have signed some quality players although some of them were free agents, but we cannot dispute the fact that some of those players are quality,” said Khanye talking to the media.

The former South Africa U-23 player stated that Amakhosi were able to bring in talented and quality players to help them get back to their glory days. However, it seems like there are still positions that need to be revamped so that Chiefs can fully challenge all the trophies in the Premier Soccer League. Khanye feels that Chiefs did a great job by bringing the services of Keagan Dolly, Cole Alexander, Njabulo Ngcobo, and Kgaogelo Sekgota to Naturena. As he feels that each of these players brings something unique to the squad, as they have shown that they’re good players in their previous teams. “Keagan Dolly is a quality player and it’s just a pity that he is unfit, but the guy is quality. Cole Alexander is a quality player. Sekgota is a good player and Njabulo Ngcobo is a good player. He was voted as the Defender of the Season while playing for Swallows last season,” said Khanye talking to the media.
