The match between the two countries, were the semi-finals in the competition, and after Uganda u20 won 4-1, they have managed to make it to the final. Uganda u20's win is all thanks to Derrick Kabooza who scored a hat trick in the match, and Richard Basangwa who scored the opening goal. Tunisia u20 only managed to score one goal which Adam Ben Lamin scored.
Uganda u20 opened the scoring when Richard Basangwa scored in the early 4th minute of the match to lead at 1-0. Derrick Kabooza scored his first goal in the 37th minute to extend the lead to 2-0. Adam Ben Lamin scored for Tunisia u20 in the 39th minute as the score change to 2-1. Derrick Kabooza scored his second goal for his side in the 50th minute as Uganda u20 leads at 3-1. Derrick completed his hat trick in the 73rd minute when he found the back of the net to make it 4-1. Uganda u20 won the match 4-1 in the end as they will now face Ghana u20 in the final and Tunisia u20 will play against Gambia u20 for a third place finish.
