Al Masry could have closed the gap by 2 points behind Al Ahly but failed to win against National Bank as they settled for a 0-0 draw.
Al Masry played their latest Egyptian Premier league fixture against National Bank at home and failed to make an impression as they settled for a 0-0 draw against the visitors. Al Masry could have closed the gap between them and second placed Al Ahly if they managed to win the match, but settled for one point in the end as they shared the points. After Al Masry only picked up one point in the match they could only manage to close the gap by four points between them and Al Ahly and not two.
Even though Al Masry win the match and closed the gap with more points, Al Ahly still has a match in hand and their efforts would have been in vain. Al Masry and National Bank failed to score in the match after Al Masry had 13 attempts at goal with only 2 shots on target as National Bank had 4 attempts with nothing on target.
