De Sa makes decision on Egypt future

When it comes to his future with Egypt, former Bafana goalkeeper Roger de Sa has finally decided.

Carlos Queiroz, the Pharaohs' departing coach, has the former Orlando Pirates head coach as an assistant.

"He was not fired, but rather he resigned, therefore he didn't choose the opportunity to stay on for four more years," De Sa explains.

"I'm back in the States and will be returning to Egypt on the 30th," she said. Probably, I'll do the same thing.

I and my coworker were both employed through December." It's a waste of time to stay for four more matches and then leave in December.

A new contract extension couldn't be worked out since the EFA requested a four-year extension.

It's better for us if new hires get a fresh start. So it's a good split.

"It's a great accomplishment for Egypt to rise 16 places in Africa in just six months."

"We're adored by Egyptians everywhere." We now raise a glass to the future."

As De Sa made clear, he's available to play for any Premier Soccer League team in the near future.

When I get home on April 29th, I'll probably wrap things up as well. By May 1st, they will be free."
